Susan Day is a middle Georgia farm girl transplanted to Atlanta.   She graduated from Emory University in Elementary Education and has a Master’s of Education from Mercer University. She taught in public school for years (California - 2; Dekalb County, Georgia - 15), specializing in Kindergarten and Third Grade. Loving to teach young children even after she retired led her to volunteer to direct Children’s Ministry for 10 years. A history of volunteering reveals her interest such as Natural History Museum, Olympics, Campfire Boys/Girls, and playing piano for nursing homes’ worship services for 22 years. She also likes to cook, crochet, quilt, scrapbook, and work on computer desktop publishing. She and Peter, her husband of 42 years, have 2 excellent adult children and 3 “grandpuppies”.
